FAR FROM THE MADDING CROWD

Surrounded by All
Yet Alone,
Creepy Loneliness with Darkness closing On,
Where is it But the LIGHT shone?

Entangled in the warp of noise
Screeching cars, screams and loud Voice,
Dirt, Grim, Whoosh of Smoke,
And through pushing and jostling
The Hell broke.

Is someone calling?
I think I heard,
Or amidst the concrete
Is it but a singing bird?

Ah! My ear is weary
For thy sweet strain
Breaking into rhapsodies
Welcoming the RAIN.

O Holy Drop from the Sky,
Falling there and then
Pitter patter pitter patter
Mingling with the stream from the Eye,
Are U trying to take my pain?

TRUST, LOVE, BELIEF
Words that in innocence I mused.....
Long ago......
Smiles on my lips? Or is it pretension?
I am but confused.

Smiles- a long forgotten dream,
Or the sweet, old tears shining on the rim?
Both luxuries I can’t afford...
Yet but necessary evils
Of which one has to be the Noose,
So standing on the crossroad
Who Do I CHOOSE?
